Sky Rail™ - 1 Rail, 69' in length,Non-Automated

The Sky Rail(s)™ is connected parallel to the Sky Trail® rope course. A non-automated Sky Rail™ is equipped with a braking system, which uses magnetic eddy currents to slow participants before landing. 

Course Elements

Sky Trail® and Sky Tykes® ropes courses are entirely made out of man-made materials including steel, plumber and combi-rope to maintain longevity, durability and structural integrity in both indoor and outdoor settings. The rope elements are constructed out of galvanized 5/8" 6-strand combination wire rope cable with a breaking strength of 7200 pounds. Participants are never in direct contact with steel cable because it's covered by rope. Most of the elements are interchangeable so you can add elements to, or change your Sky Trail® or Sky Tykes® elements at regular intervals.

Ropes Courses, Inc. uses an extruded plastic product instead of wood lumber. This product is stronger than wood and does not crack or need refinishing.

Continuous Tracking System

Sky Trail® ropes course features a total access continuous tracking system. The operator places the participant's redundant sling line into the track before they ascend the stairs and begin their ropes course experience. This unique system allows participants to choose their path through the course and have the ability to pass other participants at each platform. On a course with more than 1 level, the track also allows participants the ability to move up and down between the levels without having to disconnect at anytime from the track.
